Alganon Gold is a MMORPG designed to include innovative features such as the Studies system to users. This system helps users who do not have the same ammount of free time as those who play the game frequently.
When designing this game, the designers had two goals in mind. They wanted a game in which anyone can start to play regardless of their experience in MMORPGs.
At the same time, they wanted a game that the really skilled and hardcore players could enjoy and grow beyound their expectations. In short a game and a world that both the hardcore and causual gamers will enjoy playing.
With all of these goals and systems in place, Alganon Gold is a game which allows thousands to play together in a virtual world which has a rich history dominated by commanding deities, ancient places to discover, epic quests, powerful weapons and armor, deadly magic, the utilization of detailed tradeskills and more.
The goal of Alganon Gold was to provide "Simple Gameplay with Unlimited Growth in a massive world of immersion and interaction".
Alganon Gold plans to create a grand library. This library will serve as an on-line, in-game repository of every aspect of the game. It is updated in real time by the players. The library will highlight accomplishments and reword those who are successful.
Each capital cities has a grand library. Players contribute to these library when they are at these locations. You can see these records anywhere in the world however. The libraries records facts about this game and the legendary stories involving the greatest warriors of Alganon Gold.
These Leaderboards record such facts as the largest damage done, the richest player and the most library scryings. Since the rewards for contributing to the library is based the ammount of actions you do, there is an unspoken quest for you to find rare items and events.
There are two types of followers and belief systems within this game. I will outline them below for you.
Asharr
They were founded in 122 DE by the Emperor Talon Kesranu I. They were created in order to be the protectorate of Ardonya. They had a refined and sophisticated culture. They like lighter materials, bright reflective surfaces and bright emblems. They like things clean and pleasant looking. They show ing to the eye. The Asharr have exceptional magic abilities or swordsmanship skills. They are dedicated to examining combative and arcane skills. The races which are currently follower of the Asharr way are: Human, Dronar, Sylvain, and Kodian.
Kujix
They were created in the fifth age of Alganon Gold by the emperor of Xanjuix Karr. They are the sworn enemy to the Asharr. They believe power needs to be gained through conquest and the strongest shall win. They also protect their home of Harraja. They are ethical and they will do as their honor demands even if it creates suffering.
They believe that strength is gained by deception, domination and manipulation. Kujix architecture is ussually darker and they utize subterranean sources of power. The Talrok, Ogre, Vesperling and Fiend races are followers of the Kujix ways.
