RF stands for Online Rising Force Online.

RF Online, originally named 'Rising Force' but then shortened to RF Online after Korean Closed Beta, is a 3D MMORPG developed by CCR Inc.
The first version of the game was released in South Korea, and was then followed by Chinese (Mandarin), Japanese and English.
North America the European version of the game, recently launched its phase of retail on 21 February 2006.
The game focuses on the conflict between three races (descendants of the now extinct human race) in an attempt to control their precious resources, and their desire to promote their agenda by all means necessary.
The game was originally developed by CCR and released in South Korea in summer 2004.

RF Online, known as Rising Force Online until after the Korean Closed Beta, is a sci-fi/fantasy MMORPG where powerful magic (which the game called "Force") with advanced technology.
Unlike most MMOs that use statistics like strength, dexterity, hit points and mana, RF Online is a PT (Point), leveling system, which represents various skills and masteries ammunition (craft) to call. Each PT has its own experience bar that poses a particular jurisdiction or control is used.
RF Online also offers a unique three-way Race vs. Race (RVR) concept of battle, the player chooses to play as one of those races based on their preference towards technology (the Accretia), magic (Cora), or a combination of the two (the Bellato).
The outcome of each attack RVR world has a profound impact on the economy in games.
When not engaged in RVR combat, players can hunt monsters or missions for PT experience and equipment drops in May bonus that they are not in the store bought equipment.
Unlike many MMOGs, however, is not "safe hunting areas in RF Online.
Each zone is open to attack by opposing races.
